HELLO! My name is Tyler Woodward and this is my third year at Sandy Grove Elementary... GO DOVES! I am very excited to get this year started! I came to North Carolina in the summer of 2015 all the way from Pennsylvania. In December of 2013, I graduated from Mansfield University with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. My experience ranges from Kindergarten to 6th grade!!

 

My approach in the classroom may be different from your child's previous teachers. I believe each child learns differently and over the course of this year my goal is to help them  figure out how they best learn. That being said, I do not give students the answers... I want them to discover the answer for themselves. My job is to give them the tools to know where to find the answer. In the book of life, there is no answer key.  

 

A little about myself... I like to read a good book, travel to and explore new places, eat good food, and taking walks with my dogs Willow and Ontario. I am also a COFFEE fanatic! My favorite is blueberry coffee!
